What is Aluminum Composite Panel
Features
🔹 Lightweight: Easy to transport and install due to its low density
🔹 High Strength and Rigidity: Despite being lightweight, ACM panels have excellent structural stability.
🔹 Weather Resistance: Resists UV rays, moisture, corrosion, and temperature extremes, making it ideal for outdoor use.
🔹 Flat and Smooth Surface: Provides a clean, modern look—perfect for cladding and signage.
🔹 Variety of Finishes: Available in metallic, solid colors, brushed aluminum, wood grain, stone, and custom finishes.
🔹 Excellent Workability: Easy to cut, bend, fold, drill, and fabricate using standard tools
🔹 Fire Resistance (FR Grade): Fire-rated versions use a mineral-filled core to comply with building codes and safety standards.
🔹 Thermal and Sound Insulation: Offers moderate insulation properties due to its core material.
🔹 Low Maintenance: Surfaces are easy to clean and resistant to dirt and staining.
🔹 Durability and Long Lifespan: Retains appearance and performance for years under various environmental conditions.
🔹 Eco-Friendly Options: Many ACM panels are recyclable and manufactured using sustainable processes.
🔹 Cost-Effective: Provides a high-end look and performance at a lower cost compared to solid metal sheets or natural materials.
🔹 Color Consistency: Uniform coating quality ensures visual consistency across large projects.
Applications
🔹Building Facades & Cladding: Used for modern exterior walls, curtain walls, and rainscreen systems
🔹Interior Wall Panels: Decorative surfaces in lobbies, offices, and retail spaces.
🔹Outdoor Signboards & Billboards: UV-resistant and color-stable, ideal for long-term exposure.
🔹Retail Signage: Attractive surface for branding in shops and malls.
Cladding
🔹 PVDF (Kynar 500® Certified)
Made with fluorocarbon resin, PVDF coating is known for its superior weather resistance and long-term durability. Applied in multiple layers and baked at high temperatures (220–260℃), it offers excellent resistance to acid, alkali, UV rays, and environmental pollutants. Commonly used for exterior facades, PVDF-coated panels come with up to 15 years of warranty.
🔹 FEVE Coating
Developed in Japan, FEVE (Fluoroethylene Vinyl Ether) is a next-generation fluoropolymer coating offering similar durability to PVDF but with a broader gloss range (20%–80%). This makes it suitable for applications requiring vibrant colors and high-gloss finishes, such as modern architecture and outdoor signage. FEVE provides excellent adhesion, UV resistance, and color retention in extreme climates.
